Dija is an actor and writer living in Indianapolis IN with her husband and three children. She has a B.A. in theater with a concentration in acting from Purdue University. She has always had a love for telling stories. As a child she would spend hours making up adventures and acting them out with her siblings. However life took a turn when she saw the movie about the life of gymnast Nadia Comaneci and Dija was bit with the love of gymnastics which she participated in for 10 years. Perhaps this was her first method study as she would spend 10 years honing her performace skills as an artistic athelete.  After a year and a half studying engineering at Purdue and participating in theater on the side Dija realized that her true love was acting and switched to double majoring in Theater and  Kinesiology. At Purdue Dija had the opprortunity to perform everything from Shakespeare to black box  and experiemental productions. She is also a self motivated  artist as she took on her first directing project as a college student to provide more roles for undergrads during the grad students’ thesis semester. Since then Dija has written several plays and has written produced and acted in the anti-gun violence play A Song for Peace from 2006-2010.  After producing A Song for Peace for the 3rd year, and creating the web series Sweatpants and High Heels the need for Inspired Arts and Media seemed apparant. She is presently producing her first documentary about gun violence.
